Order and Delivery Guide

Note:
MANUFACTURER'S
CLOSURE IN JANUARY 2012
Please note that our
manufacturer will be closed for two weeks from the 16th January 2012
until the 30th January 2012 for their annual holiday, so this will
affect our standard delivery time. When ordering around this
time the delivery time will be longer. Rush orders are
not available at this time. If you order in January Bridal
gowns will take up to 14 weeks, all other dresses will take up to 10
weeks so please allow extra time when you are ordering over this
period.
Please note that it
is very important that you allow yourself plenty of time when
ordering your gown, this will avoid the disapointment of not
receiving your gown/dress on time. Bridal gowns generally take
12 weeks to be made and Bridesmaids, Formal Dresses etc generally
take 8 weeks to made. After production is complete delivery
can take from 1-7 business days depending on your postcode.
We
also have a rush service for wedding dresses to be made in 8 weeks
and all other dresses in 4-5 weeks. Please note that extra
charges will apply. You must contact us first to see if we can
deliver your dress to you on time.
All of our gowns are
custom made to order and are NOT in stock. Although
we have a quicker turn around time than most stores you will still
need to leave ample time for your gown to be made,shipped,
processed and delivered. For wedding dresses we recommend that
you order at least 4 months before your wedding, for
Bridesmaids/Flower Girls, Formal Dresses etc we recommend that your
order at least 3 months in advance.
* Busy Period – Due to the
closure of our office over the Christmas and New Year period, and
our Manufacturer‘s closure in late January 2012, production
times will take longer. Please note that we cannot rush any
dresses during the busy period, so please plan
ahead.
Please note that if you
are not available at the time of delivery a card will be left by
Australia Post so that you can pick your parcel up from your local
post office. Over 90% of orders shipped by Australia Post
arrive within normal transit times, if you have any concerns with
delivery please notify our customer service department at dressofyourdreams@bigpond.com
quoting your tracking number. Please note that once an order
has left our premises Dress of Your Dreams cannot be held
responsible by delays caused by Australia Post or any other carrier,
as these are conditions out of our control. If you have not
received your order in a timely manner once you have received
confirmation from us that your order has been dispatched, please
contact us immediately and we will launch an
investigation.

GENERAL SHIPPING
CHARGES
Depending on which dress
you choose your gown will fall into the following
category, prices include shipping and handling, please
note that this is a guide only.
1. Bridesmaid
Dresses/Flower Girl Dresses approximately $15 per
dress,
we will combine shipping please ask for a
quote
2. Medium Dresses, Mother of the Bride,
Most Formal Dressses, Some Informal Wedding
Dresses
$20-$25
3. Larger Bridal Gowns - $30-$50
depending on the weight of the gown.
Please note
that all of our dresses are sent via Australia Post
registered post and are fully insured. This
is the most cost effective way to send your dress.
Express post shipping is available at an additional
cost, please email for a quote.
Shipping times
will depend on your postcode. All gowns are sent
from our office headquarters in Sydney.
For
international shipping you can choose airmail post or
EMS Courier, please email for a quote.
INTERNATIONAL
CUSTOMERS
Dress of Your Dreams ships internationally,
we are currently shipping our gowns to the USA, Canada,
New Zealand, The UK, Asia and Europe.
If you would
like to receive a quote on international shipping please
email us at dressofyourdreams@bigpond.com.
International customers do not
pay any GST (sales tax) on their order, simply select
the international button when ordering this will
automatically remove the GST for
you.

We are happy to answer any enquiries
that you may have so please do not hesitate to contact
us.
Please note that Dress of Your
Dreams cannot be held responsible if your order is
ceased by customs in your country, or if there
is a
delay in customs clearance in your country. Your package
may be subject to the customs fees and import duties
of your country.
These charges are always the
recipient's responsibility
